’Wisatawan yang berkunjung ke OWUN selalu kami berikan informasi mengenai potensi wisata di Belitung Timur. Ruang budaya (culture room) ini mempunyai koleksi terkait seni budaya lokal dan benda-benda keramik/BMKT (barang muatan kapal tengelam). Wisatawan juga bisa berfoto 3D dengan spot-spot menarik dan berbelanja produk ekonomi kreatif masyarakat. Disbudpar Belitung Timur mempersilahkan masyarakat untuk menitipkan produk ekonomi kreatifnya kemudian langsung dijual kepada wisatawan..kata dr. Helly Tjandra Kadisbudpar Beltim dan manager OWUN dalam penjelasan singkatnya kepada rombongan KEMENKO MARITIM RI dari Jakarta yang berkunjung ke OWUN bersama DKP Kab. Belitung Timur, hari ini (18/12).
“The Tourists who visit OWUN will be given the information about tourism potentials of East Belitung. Ruang Budaya (culture room) has collections related to local art and cultures and the goods of shipwreck. Tourist can also take pictures with 3D backgrounds of interesting tourism objects and shop local creative economy products. The Culture and Tourism Office of East Belitung regency gives the opportunity to local people to directly promote their products to the visitors”, said dr. Helly Tjandra, the Head of Culture and Tourism Office of East Belitung and OWUN’s Manager in his short explanation to the group of KEMENKO MARITIM of Jakarta who visited OWUN assisted by the staffs of Marine and Fishery Office of East Belitung Regency, today, December 18th, 2017.
