Kota Manggar sudah dikenal sebagai stop point bagi para yachter, mereka berlabuh disungai manggar untuk melakukan pengisian bahan bakar, membeli kebutuhan sehari-hari, menikmati kopi manggar dan ikut city tour yang diadakan oleh Disbudpar Belitung Timur. Kedatangan Mr. NICHOLSON HARRY NIGEL dan istrinya Mrs. ERICA MARGARET NICHOLSON dengan nama kapal yacht JEPADA IV dari AUSTRALIA disambut langsung oleh dr. Helly Tjandra Kadisbudpar Beltim beserta pegawai di Disbudpar Beltim dengan ngopi bareng di Warkop Ayung (hari pertama). Mereka akan berkunjung di Kota Manggar Kab. Beltim selama 5 hari Rabu-Minggu, 24-27 Januari 2018 dengan agenda (hari kedua) pengisian bahan bakar, pembelian kebutuhan sehari-hari dan city tour/jalur utara, (hari ketika) city tour/jalur selatan dan belajar memasak masakan Indonesia bersama Ivone (masyarakat kota manggar), (hari keempat) perbaikan/checking kondisi kapal pada pagi hari, ngopi bareng pada sore hari, (hari kelima) meninggalkan sungai manggar/Kota Manggar pada pagi hari.
Manggar city is known as a stop point for the yachters. They anchored at Manggar River to fuel, buy daily need, enjoy Manggar coffee, and attended tour held by Culture and Tourism Office of East Belitung Regency. The arrival of Mr. NICHOLSON HARRY NIGEL and his wife Mrs. ERICA MARGARET NICHOLSON with their yacht JEPADA IV from AUSTRALIA were warmly welcomed by the head and the employees of Culture and Tourism Office of East Belitung Regency proceeded by drinking coffee at Ayung’s Coffee shop. They will spend 5 days at Manggar city, from January 24th till 27th 2018. Second day agenda are fueling, buying daily need, and enjoying city tour (northern route). Third day agenda are enjoying the city tour (southern route), learning to cook Indonesian food assisted by Ivone, a Manggar city resident. On the fourth day, they will repair/check their yacht condition in the morning proceeded by drinking coffee together in the afternoon. Finally, on the last they, they will leave Manggar River heading to next destination.
