Lomba dayung perahu tradisional diselenggarakan disungai buding Desa Buding Kec. Kelapa Kampit, Minggu (27/8). Lomba ini diikuti oleh masyarakat Desa Buding dan desa-desa lainnya di Kec. Kelapa Kampit yang memperebutkan piala bergilir Bupati Belitung Timur, Camat Kelapa Kampit dan Kepala Desa Buding. Hadir menyaksikan lomba, Bupati Belitung Timur, Sekda. Belitung Timur, Forkominda, Kepala SKPD, Camat Kepala Kampit, Kades. Buding dan masyarakat. Lomba ini diadakan bertujuan untuk memeriahkan HUT RI 72 dan menggali tradisi lomba dayung perahu tradisional sebagai potensi atraksi wisata dalam memajukan sektor pariwisata di Desa Buding.
The event of traditional boat race was held in Buding village, the district of Kelapa Kampit, Sunday, august 27th 2017. Competed for the rotating trophy of the Regent East Belitung, the head of Kelapa Kampit subdistrict, and the head of Buding village, the participants of the race were the people of Buding and surrounding village, the sub district of Kelapa Kampit. Held to enliven the celebration of Indonesia’s 72th Independence Day, the event was also meant to dig the potential of traditional boat race to be one of the tourism attractions in Buding village.
